I am really happy to let you know that there is a second plugin that I created which can be found in the WordPress.org repository. I came up with the idea while I was working on the custom project management system for Developry WordPress Services. I wanted to have a support section where registered users can ask questions by creating support tickets and get quick answers from the support team.
I already had installed Contact Form 7 and Flamingo for other sections of the application so I thought let me extend the Flamingo plugin and add couple additional functionalities.
After that, I thought that’s a pretty good idea for a standalone plugin. Within a couple of days, I was able to put together the plugin code and submit it to the repository.
I wrote about it in my previous post where I only had the initial idea, however, now I have put together a detailed instructions page on how to set up the plugin, usage, and additional tips and tricks. I also created a quick 1-minute video where you can view a step by step instructions on how to install and create your first Help Desk 9 support ticket page.
The plugin is still new and there aren’t that many people using it but I hope in the near future more and more people will start creating their own customer support pages. I have several different ideas on improving and extending the plugin but I will let you in more detail in the coming months.
I addition, I am very close to release a beta of the Developry WordPress Service so stay tuned I will write another introductory post in the next week or so.
Until the next time & happy coding.
